Logistics

When it comes to preparing for your trip, there are plenty of details to juggle. There are forms to fill out, immunizations to schedule, itineraries to book, and clothes to pack. While we won’t pack for you, we do take care of everything else.

We are blessed with talented trip coordinators who handle the details so you can focus on what God has called you to do. They will book your airfare and housing, arrange the meals, and set up ground transportation. All you have to do is show up at the airport on the day of departure!

You will meet with your trip leader and fellow team members well ahead of your mission, giving you a chance to plan and bond together. However, if you’re one of those people who like to be over-prepared, here are a few answers to the most commonly asked questions.

CAN I DOWNLOAD THE e3 GUIDEBOOK?

Click here to download the digital version of the e3 Guidebook.  Be sure and read it several times before you leave for your trip.

HOW MUCH MONEY SHOULD I BRING?

With e3 taking care of the details, you won’t need to bring much (about $100-$200). You will be responsible for meals on travel or tourism days, and for any shopping you may choose to do. (You may want to buy some souvenirs for those who gave to your expedition.)

HOW SHOULD I CARRY MY PASSPORT AND CASH?

You will need to carry your passport and documentation with you at all times. When you meet with your team, your leader will share his or her favorite tricks for traveling safely.

WILL I BE ABLE TO CALL OR EMAIL HOME?

International phone calls tend to be expensive. However, there will likely be places from which you can call home. Email may be available at your hotel or a local Internet café. Your trip leaders will have more information about arrangements on your particular mission.

WILL THE SHOTS HURT?

Probably. But you also get some candy when you’re done!

DOES THE TRIP COST INCLUDE MY TRAVEL EXPENSES?

Yes. e3 builds your travel and sleeping arrangements into the cost of the trip.

Once your application is in, you will receive an Expedition Guidebook that provides all of the important details, including how to pack, how to prepare, and what you will do when you arrive.
