Dear Family and Friends,

Charlie and I are going on Mission to UGANDA! As you (probably) know, Charlie and I got married back in October. YAY! Before we got married, we spoke a little about our hearts for missions and what that could look like as we joined our lives together. Earlier this year, I felt a tug on my heart to sign up for more information about our Church's trip to Uganda. I only briefly mentioned it to Charlie because the trip was a week and a half long and I assumed it just wasn't in the cards this year. The Lord is SO faithful and a couple of months later Charlie had a dream and Jesus said, "GO UGANDA". We talked and prayed about it after that and the Lord continued to confirm that he wants us in Uganda this year!! So we said "YES!" and will be traveling to Kisoro, Uganda this September to make disciples and equip the locals there with tools to share the gospel and create house churches!

This trip is a very unique one in that we are working directly with the local church the whole time we are there. The mornings will consist of us teaching the church body disciple-making techniques and in the afternoons we will go alongside the locals and share about Jesus together! In talking about this trip with some friends who went last year the things we heard over and over again is how fruitful this specific mission trip is. Uganda is a place where people are hungry for Jesus and hungry for MORE! It is fertile soil and we are so excited to go and make disciples there this September.

We are inviting you to partner with us in a few ways!

1) PRAYER! Pray for our trip and prep for the trip. There are about 6 weeks of meetings leading up to the trip where we will learn and practice the tools that we are going to share while there. Pray for our hearts and the hearts of our team to be for the people of Uganda to know Jesus more! Pray that the locals would have open hearts and that Jesus would bring salvation and sustained discipleship beyond the time that we get to be in Uganda. 2) Give financially to our trip! In total, Charlie and I will need to raise $7,700, $5,000 of which we are trying to raise by the end of June! We are believing Jesus will provide this and we ask you to prayerfully consider how he might want to include you in sending us to Uganda!
