I will never forget March 12, 2018, because it was when my life changed forever. It was just a regular Monday night to most people, but for me it was the night that I heard God say he was ready for me to take action for His kingdom.
I was taking a 15 week Perspectives Class on the World Christian Movement and during our meeting on this night we covered chapter nine, “The Task Remaining.” As our speaker was explaining the breakdown of the world’s populations versus the number of Christians in the world, he stated that of the Hindu, Buddhist, and Muslim cultures 86% of them do not know a believer. As I sat there I was amazed. He went on to say, “every 2 seconds someone enters eternity without ever hearing the name of Jesus Christ.
God is doing something amazing in the world today. Behind all the news headlines, he is working among people groups to draw all people to himself. Through the years, he has worked in my heart and is calling me into mission part-time.
