I can’t believe it’s already late August! For me, it seems like the summer just flew by. I hope you had an opportunity to enjoy some rest and relaxation out in the sunny weather, whether that was swimming, barbequing, or simply enjoying quality time with your family and friends.
Now that the fall season is approaching, change is once again in the air and we have some exciting events just around the corner!
The first is e3 Giving Day on September 9! If you haven’t done so already, I encourage you to contact your supporters to share the Save-the-Date and other e3 Giving Day creative assets that are available to you. As you know, this is our biggest day of charitable giving all year and we anticipate that, after the tumultuous events of 2020, this will be our most fruitful e3 Giving Day to date! Please check out our video announcement regarding e3 Giving Day prizes and stay tuned for more details.
Next, we’ll see you all at the Made to Multiply Summit on October 29-30 in Garland, Texas! This event feels very special to me because it represents our first opportunity to gather together in one place since the COVID-19 pandemic occurred. While we are so grateful to the Lord for our modern-day technologies which make remote communication possible, like Zoom and our cell phones, there is truly nothing like meeting face-to-face. We have so much to share about our new 5-year initiative, and I firmly believe this 2-day event is going to serve as a catalyst–one that propels us into an incredible new season in our ministry, as we look to train 1 million believers in North America to share the Gospel.
Please be sure to register for the Summit by the September 15 deadline. As an incentive, everyone who registers by September 15 will receive a free Made to Multiply T-shirt, and will be entered into a drawing to win an iPad and a few other fun prizes! Additionally, all remote staff who register by the September 15 deadline are eligible to receive a one-time allowance up to $300 to cover travel & lodging. We will ask all attendees to follow the recommended COVID protocols for travel and in-person gatherings in order to ensure everyone’s safety and well-being during the event. If you have any questions about the Summit, feel free to read our Frequently Asked Questions.
Last but certainly not least, I want to acknowledge your continued hard work to advance the Kingdom of God. The Lord has graciously given our staff so many diverse skills and abilities, and it’s really beautiful seeing how all of these gifts work together so that we might reach every person with the Gospel.
Thanks again for your tremendous work, and I look forward to seeing you in October!
