NICARAGUA
Marked by tall mountains and beautiful coastlines, Nicaragua is a tropical paradise. Roughly one-fifth of the land is protected for conservation purposes and despite nearly two centuries of dictatorships, the economy is beginning to grow.
Evangelicalism has experienced rapid growth over the last 50 years, increasing 40-fold in number since 1960. Through natural disasters and political turmoil, many have turned to Christ and the revival isn’t slowing down anytime soon. Still, much more is needed to fuel the movement.
e3 Partners is working to ensure that a thriving local church exists in every community throughout Nicaragua. We are equipping existing believers and training local pastors to identify unreached communities and share the Gospel effectively. As people come to faith in Christ, we are establishing small groups that help them take the next steps in their spiritual growth and serve as the seeds for new churches.
