BURUNDI

About the size of Maryland, Burundi is a small nation of coffee and tea farmers. It sits along the northeast shore of Lake Tanganyika and is marked by a mountainous, fertile countryside. Often known as Rwanda’s “twin,” Burundi is mostly populated by the rivaling Hutu and Tutsi people.

Despite ethnic tensions, the 1990’s became a time of revival and growth for evangelical Christianity that continues today. Still, an estimated 17,000 Burundians have never heard the Gospel and live in communities without any church or missionary presence.

e3 Partners is working to ensure that a thriving local church exists in every community throughout Burundi. We are equipping existing believers and training local pastors to identify unreached communities and share the Gospel effectively. As people come to faith in Christ, we are establishing small groups that help them take the next steps in their spiritual growth and serve as the seeds for new churches.

Gary Pettet's Staff Support Fundraiser

Organized by Gary Pettet

My wife and I are common people, commissioned by the Lord Jesus Christ to Equip national pastors and churches to Evangelize the lost in their communities and to Establish new multiplying churches in Zimbabwe.  We have a passion to see our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ discover what God will do through His children as we obediently follow Him in pursuit of our Great Commission assignment to disciple the nations. We humbly request your faithful prayers, your willing participation on one of our teams as well as your gracious gifts so we can keep both hands to the plow!  Thank you!
