PANAMA
With roughly 4% of the world’s trade passing through Panama every year, the country is blessed with one of the most advanced infrastructures in Latin America. In terms of wildlife, it is also the most diverse country in the region.
In recent years, the people have become increasingly interested in spiritual matters and more responsive to the Gospel as a result. Since 1970, evangelicals have grown from just 5% of the population to 20% in 2010. Still, much work remains to be done.
e3 Partners is working to ensure that a thriving local church exists in every community throughout Panama. We are equipping existing believers and training local pastors to identify unreached communities and share the Gospel effectively. I know God is doing something amazing in the world today and have seen some of it first hand!! I know that He is calling all believers to be His ambassadors - 2 Corinthians 5:17-21. He has shown this to me over the past few years by using me to start a couple of home-churches, to disciple others, to have me be a part of - and even now - lead a residency to help give others a game plan and/or tools for discipling others, and finally, by giving me the honor of sharing His Good News in the harvest fields!
I have always had a heart for overseas missions, especially Asia, and my heart has grown for the United States as well. I see the need for those to help others here see His plan to make disciples everywhere. My desire is for God to find people who do not want to just try and fit Jesus into their schedule, but want to surrender completely to His will in all His ways. A desire that these people will accept this same mission that He has given me - to make disciples and share the Good News to the ends of this Earth.
Now, through prayer, we know He has worked in my heart and is calling me into mission full-time with e3 Partners. e3 Partners is a global missions agency advancing the Gospel and establishing the Church in over 65 countries. I belong to a body of over 400 staff and 2,000 national partners sharing his Gospel among the nations.
