Last Monday night, Paul Hauser won the Emmy Award for outstanding supporting actor in a limited series or movie. Just four days before that, Paul and his wife Amy appeared in the latest White Chair Film series from I Am Second, e3’s digital media ministry.
After Paul won the Emmy for his role in the show Black Bird, he rapped his acceptance speech. His rap included the lines, “Thank you, God, for this life,” and “Casting out demons in the name of Yeshua Hamashiach (which means Jesus the Messiah in Hebrew). That’s a what-up to Jesus. He’s the soul owner.”
But Paul hasn’t always had a soul surrendered to Jesus. In their new White Chair Film series, he and his wife Amy detail the ups and downs of their relationship with each other and with God.
Paul and Amy’s story started off like a romantic comedy. But neither of them expected to be separated two months after getting married with a baby on the way. Their marriage took a sharp turn down a dark road full of heartbreak and unwise decisions. While Amy prayed for a miracle, Paul was filing for divorce. What caused the U-turn that brought their paths back together?
In I Am Second’s new four-part series, the Hausers share how they reconciled and turned to God in a season of confusion and pain. Not only that, they share how their faith in Jesus Christ transformed their lives and their marriage.
