e3 Partners’ digital media ministry known as I Am Second recently hosted a Luncheon & Concert in Dallas, Texas featuring Christian contemporary artist, Danny Gokey. Every year, I Am Second reaches millions of people who are far from God with powerful stories of redemption through Jesus Christ. We were simply thrilled to have Danny in attendance to support the impactful work of our ministry.
The Lord has utilized Danny’s talents to inspire millions of people around the world with his faith-based music. After becoming a top-3 finalist on season eight of the popular television show, American Idol, Danny celebrated a series of #1s, including his album releases Hope In Front of Me, Rise, Haven’t Seen It Yet, and more. He has been honored with three Grammy nominations, three wins as KLOVE Male Vocalist of the Year, two Dove Awards, and numerous Dove Award nominations.
During the luncheon, Danny performed a set of praise & worship music for the enthusiastic crowd. He and his wife, Leyicet, also participated in a touching interview on stage. During the intimate chat, Leyicet candidly discussed her personal salvation story in which she came to faith as an adult. Afterward, she questioned why no one in her immediate circle had shared the life-changing message of Jesus Christ with her sooner.
Many believers like Leyicet certainly wish they had been given an opportunity to know Jesus at an earlier point in their lives. Her moving story reveals an ongoing challenge within the North American church: these days, many Christians just aren’t equipped to confidently share their faith with non-believers.

Through this challenge, people all around the world are learning to comfortably share their Jesus story in 30 seconds or less!
