Today is The National Day of Prayer! For over 70 years, this annual observance has resulted in an incredible display of unified public prayer all across America. This year, millions of believers will once again come together before the Lord with fervent petitions for our great nation and you’re invited to be a part of it.

How can you participate? It’s simple: set aside designated time to pray for our nation today on May 5. As a special help and encouragement, e3 Partners Ministry has created a free digital prayer guide for your use titled Praying for Our Nation.

Did you know The National Day of Prayer has been in existence since 1952? It was initially created by a joint resolution of the U.S. Congress, then signed into law by President Truman. We think that’s worth celebrating. Psalm 100:4 admonishes us to “enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name.” While our nation has numerous hurdles in sight, we can praise the Lord that we live in a country with religious freedom: a place where public prayer is not just permissible, but encouraged and embraced on a national scale!

We all know there’s no shortage of challenges ahead for our country. Many people are far from God, and we desperately need to see repentance and revival sweep the nation. But as millions of believers intercede today, we believe God will hear our prayers and meet us in our need with a fresh outpouring of His Spirit. If you know other believers who share this sentiment and want to see our country return to the Lord, please feel free to pass along the prayer guide to them using this link: bit.ly/Praying-For-Our-Nation

Thanks for coming alongside us to pray, and may God bless America.
