Over the past few weeks, we’ve been addressing an important and biblical topic: how to be spiritually bold! With that in mind, allow us to suggest a short-term mission trip with e3 Partners; no experience is necessary and our seasoned trip leaders will guide you every step of the way. In the letter below, you’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at someone’s first trip to the Texas border. Enjoy!

Hello! I’m Lettie, and I recently had an opportunity to serve the Lord on a short-term mission trip to McAllen, Texas and Reynosa, Mexico. This was my first trip in support of e3 Partners Español, a long-term initiative to equip millions of Hispanic believers and the Hispanic Church to reach the nations.
At the border, I served my team as a translator. We boldly shared the hope of Christ with migrant families from Argentina, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Haiti, and Venezuela. Now these individuals are equipped to spread the Gospel, make disciples, and start home church fellowships among their own people groups!
While in Reynosa, something surprising took place. After we shared some Gospel presentations, two unwed couples expressed a desire to commit to the Lord and one another through holy matrimony! We took time to counsel the couples and surrounding migrant people on the biblical significance of marriage, explaining that believers are the bride of Christ. Our mission team (which happened to include an ordained minister) then obtained rings, flowers, cake, and a veil; by the grace of God, we facilitated the wedding ceremonies the following day.
It was amazing to watch God embolden our mission team members—and these newly married believers. If you would like to increase your spiritual boldness in 2023, I invite you to join us on a future mission trip. Thank you for your readership and prayers, and may God bless you!
