The cost for the trip is $4,200 each person. The guideline for mission trips where each individual puts in out of their own pocket the first 1/3 of the total cost of the trip ($1,400), and then raises the rest of the 2/3 ($2,800). My husband, Jaime and I had put in our 1/3 totaled to $2,800 for the two of us and we have to raise $5,600 in a short time.
