MIDDLE EAST

The Middle East is volatile, strategic, horrifying, and confusing. And that’s just the beginning. We all read the headlines, hear the news and wonder, “can anything good come from the Middle East?”

You won’t see this on Fox or CNN:

An unprecedented revolution is happening right now throughout the Middle East. More Muslims have become followers of Jesus in the last 10 years than in the past 14 centuries of Islam. More Jews have become followers of Jesus, the Jewish Messiah, in the last 20 years than in the past 2,000 years.

More than any time in history, the need to engage in what God is doing is now. Through passionate prayer, generous giving and strategic expeditions into this dark region, you can be a part of reaching the unreachable. Jesus is setting the captives free!

All around us are people that the Bible calls “lost” — those living (and dying) far from God. Many of them are in far away places where there are few, if any, followers of Jesus; however, many also live in our local communities. Current research shows that about 2/3 of our friends, family, and neighbors wouldn’t come to church even if invited. Whether near or far, lost people are on God’s heart — and, by God’s grace, we’ve been given a part in His plan to reach them.

We desire that everyone in our community, and beyond, has an authentic invitation to hear about Jesus and become His disciple. In churches, we see believers who have a desire to share about Jesus with others who still need to be equipped and empowered to do so. We believe that people currently far from God can become disciples who will disciple others. Disciples who make disciples, over and over across multiple spiritual generations, is the Biblical solution for our lost world.

That’s why we’re excited about “No Place Left,” a global network we’ve been working with locally since 2021. Inspired by Paul’s words in Romans 15:8-24, we’re trusting God that one day there will literally be no place left in our community, our state, and our world where the name of Jesus hasn’t been heard.
