Merry Christmas from e3 Partners!
Luke 2:10 – “Then the angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.’”
When we at e3 read Luke 2:10, the words “all the people” are heavy on our hearts. Jesus was not sent to give His gift of eternal life and cause joy for just some people – those easiest to get to or most culturally open to the Gospel. Jesus was sent for ALL the people.
Unfortunately, many around the world have yet to know about the joy Jesus brings. Unlike us, they have had the misfortune of being born among people without widespread access to the Gospel. We refer to these as Unreached People Groups or UPGs. There are currently 7,398 such UPGs comprising over 3.4 billion people. Think of it – over 3 billion people who have never even heard that Jesus loves them, came to save them, and wants them to have joy and eternal life with Him in heaven.
We encourage you to remember and pray for these people groups. Read the stories below related to people groups who still need to experience the joy of Jesus.
How to pray for each people group
Laborers
Pray that God would raise up and send more laborers (Luke 10:2).
Gospel
Pray for a movement of the Gospel to go throughout the people group, and that all would be able to hear the Gospel (Romans 10:17).
Churches
Pray that God would establish generations of healthy reproducing churches (Acts 2:47, John 17:20-21, Psalm 45:17).
