The Greater Together Objective
God has given us at e3 Partners Ministry a mission to reach the six billion people in the world who are far from Christ. Ultimately, that is at the heart of everything we do at e3 Partners. That’s why we want to see a local church accessible to every person on Earth so there’s no place left that has not heard the good news of Jesus Christ.
To help us plant churches among these billions of lost people, e3 has developed a three-year campaign called Greater Together. Our objectives include:
MOBILIZE
New full-time missionaries
(we call them Strategy Coordinators or SCs)
REACH
people groups and places that need the Gospel
TRAIN
people around the world to share their faith, make disciples, and plant churches
The Strategy
This is best defined by answering three questions:
1. What is a church?
The Church is the vehicle God uses to advance the Kingdom through the Great Commission. So when we plant churches, we aren’t talking about buildings. We define a church as a gathering of seven or more baptized believers practicing the nine commands of Christ outlined in Acts 2:36-47: studying the Bible, baptizing, praying, discipling, loving others, participating in the Lord’s Supper, giving, appointing leaders, and worshiping.
2. Where do we work?
e3 sends SCs to Unreached People Groups both in the U.S. and around the world, especially groups that have never been reached with the Gospel before. We are pioneering digital technology to help us identify and track the locations that still have no access to a healthy church. This technology allows us to track Kingdom work and church multiplication from the country level all the way down to the village level. But we don’t do this work alone. We collaborate with other like-minded ministries to identify and reach the gaps.
3. Who do we work with?
Our SCs work with indigenous leaders and train them how to share the Gospel, make disciples, and plant churches. Those leaders then train other local leaders so that believers and churches multiply in that region. We do this here in the U.S. too; we raise up local leaders all across the country to reach those around them. Our goal is to equip and empower local leaders all around the world to take ownership of the Great Commission in their area.
From Viewing to Doing
One of the ways we identify people called to long-term missions to become e3 Strategy Coordinators is through our digital media ministry, I Am Second. I Am Second tells stories that lift up Jesus through media, connecting with people’s felt needs and pointing them toward Jesus. We inspire our I Am Second audience to move from viewing our online content to following the call God has given them. We do this by providing bridges to help viewers learn how to confidently share the Gospel, grow in their faith, disciple others, and pursue potential opportunities in the mission field.
