In many countries, education is considered the silver bullet in preventing violence and discrimination. Following the genocide of the early 1990’s in Rwanda, educating the next generation is a high priority. But it comes at a steep price. Only 15% of the country’s annual budget goes into schooling. While the prescribed education program for Rwandan child is twelve years, few stay in school longer than three.

Families must pay school fees three times a year with each term costing $200 US. e3 Rwanda is determined to fund the education of 10 children. Your donation of $50 a month over six years will help pay for school fees, uniforms, books, transportation, supplies and a small amount of pocket money to complete their programs. This is your chance to invest in the next generation of a country still scarred by genocide and ethnic tensions.
